I am an experienced PhD medicinal chemist that has spent numerous years mentoring scientists of various fields in the pharmaceutical industry. My goal is to mentor students and help them to truly understand the subjects they are studying through what I believe is the best learning method available - one on one tutoring. I feel that tutoring is most effective when students engage in self-explanation, therefore I primarily utilize a Socratic teaching style of inquiry and discussion while working through topics and problems.
